Refuse

You can refuse a prescription after it has been filled if the patient does not want the prescription or you have made an error. For some errors, you can amend a prescription instead of refusing it.

A prescription can be refused from multiple areas:

• Refusing Prescriptions from the Workbench
• Refusing Prescriptions from the Patient Folder

If a refill has been filled for the prescription, you can refuse an older prescription or the most recent refill. If you attempt to cancel the original prescription, you are prompted to refuse the most recent refill instead. If you refuse an older prescription, you are prompted with the following:
